App Displays “Offline” When Adding Camera

The following questions may be helpful in resolving the issue of “camera appearing offline” during camera setup (when connecting the camera and the router via an Ethernet cable):

  1. Before adding the device, you may hear a continuous “beep” sound (if there is no sound, please reset the device).
  2. Make sure your mobile phone is connected to the same router or LAN as the camera.
  3. Make sure DHCP is enabled on the router.
  4. Make sure MAC filtering is not enabled on the router. If it is enabled, you need to temporarily disable MAC filtering.
  5. If you switch from Ethernet to Wi-Fi in the app, you will be prompted to enter the Wi-Fi password. Make sure the provided Wi-Fi password is correct.
